Wildlife - 12 Day Kruger to Cape, South Africa

Day 1 Arrival, Kruger Park

On arrival at Oliver Tambo International Airport you will be met by your guide and transported to the Kruger National Park in an air conditioned minibus, a 4 hour drive. Lunch stop en-route. We will have our first taste of wild Africa as we enter the Kruger National Park gates on our way to our accommodation inside the park.

Day 2 - 5 Kruger Park

Big 5 Wildlife

We will spent the next four days trans-versing South Africa’s largest wildlife park (the Kruger Park covers 2 million hectares) one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the world, home of the Big 5. Plains game, a large variety of birds (500+ species occur in the park) and the big cats can be encountered as they roam freely throughout the park.


  • Daily guided game drives in air conditioned minibus
  • A guided night-drive in an open safari vehicle
  • A guided sunset drive in an open safari vehicle
  • A guided morning walk (approx. 4 hours, moderate fitness)

Day 6 Panorama Route

Scenic Blyde River Canyon

Leaving the low lying savannah behind us we will ascend to the highland plateau and Drakensberg escarpment with scenic views over the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world. The panoramic views and natural beauty of Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, The Three Rondawels and Berlin Falls are on our itinerary today. Our accommodation for the night is in the quaint little village of Dullstroom in the Mpumalanga Highlands

Day 7 - 11 Cape Town and surroundings

Mountains, Wine & Sea

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Johannesburg, a 2,5 hour drive, for your flight to Cape Town. In stark contrast to the wild and rugged north of the country the Cape peninsula, coast and lush wine lands has a special charm of its own which can’t be found anywhere else in the world.

Day 12 Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg from where you will catch your return flight back home.
